Watch KONY 2012: Part II - Beyond Famous—A Closer Look

KONY 2012 has been the most popular video on YouTube and other video sharing websites and it is the fastest-growing viral video ever. The film’s success led to increased scrutiny of Invisible Children, igniting international debate.

And now KONY 2012: Part II - Beyond Famous provides a closer look at the LRA and explores the solutions put forward by leaders of the currently-affected areas of CAR. DRC, and South Sudan, where local communities continue to live under the constant threat of LRA violence. The new video aims at keeping up pressure and let the world know who the evil Joseph Kony really is and what he has done. The new video admits that Kony's forces number only 250 people, but claims it has displaced more than 400,000 and has even abducted 57 more people since the first video came out March 5. “We want people to dig deeper into this conflict and actively engage in the solutions. A month ago, we launched Kony 2012 with the goal to make Joseph Kony famous in order to bring his crimes to light, and people all around the world are now calling for his arrest. “Beyond Famous” is a call to turn global awareness into informed action.”—said by Ben Keesey, CEO of the non-profit group.
