Here's the new official single from Pitbull's new album Planet Pit. It's the RedOne prodution "Rain Over Me" features J.Lo ex-husband Marc Anthony. Written by Pitbull, RedOne, Marc Anthony, Bilal "The Chef" Hajji, AJ Janussi, Rachid Aziz, and produced by RedOne, David Rush, Jimmy Joker, the dance-pop song has received great popularity since its release on June 10, 2011. It also gained good rankings on Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. "Rain over Me" music video was directed by David Rosseau who has also directed the other music video "I Know You Want Me".
This dance-pop song contains dramatic disco-rave synths. According to some comments on the song, it is a step outside Pitbull's usual robotic sound. And since both Pitbull and Marc Anthony are of Latin Caribbean descent, this song is remarked as a superstar Latin Carribean duet. The Cuban-American rapper pours his sickest verses into the song while the Latin star Marc Anthony in charge of the hooks. It is another smash Pitbull throws to the music world.
