Yet another baby from Canada won overnight fame via YouTube.
This time it's a five-and-a-half-month-old baby boy in London, Ont. Called Emerson. The video having Emerson as main character, titled 'Emerson - Mommy's Nose is Scary! (Original)' was posted onto YouTube on Mar 14, 2011 and has drawn 6.98 million views.
The 59 seconds long video shows that when Emerson's Mom blows her nose, little Emerson will just alter between horrified shock and uncontrollable laughter.
Emerson's horrified shock:
The video has quickly climbed up to YouTube trending topics charts in both Canada and global YouTube site. Some famous video sites have also added the video to their sites, including American Idol's host Ryan Seacrest's website. Beyond that, some big American talk shows have called Emerson's families and invited them to their show programs.
Earlier last week, Emerson's grandfather Dave Helwig added the video to his work site Sootoday.com. He told us that "Both the Today Show and Good Morning America have been very persistent". Good Morning America plans to take Emerson's families to New York by airplane, and provides the family to live there for two nights, even to apply urgent passport for the family.
The video has made the family known to the world. Helwig told us that the family has received a lot of messages from viewers around the world. He said:"People just love the fact that for a minute their attention was turned from all the tragedy in the world to the innocence of a giggling little child."
I love the video. I think it'll be one of my favorite YouTube videos of the year. How about you? Let me know your thoughts in the comment.
