iPad Mini: Look Like A Larger 3G iPod Nano and A Thinner 4G iPod Touch

When you are surfing on the internet you will immediately notice that there are news everywhere about the appearance, the specs as well as the release date of the small model iPad—iPad Mini. They are dropping left and right, at we can never tell which are right and which are wrong. But at least, a few of them are going on the target.

The so-called iPad Mini will be thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire and it may be as thin as an iPod Touch 4G. So the smaller iPad will be at 7.2mm, nearly 25% thinner than the new iPad. It is reported that the iPad Mini screen measures 7.85 inches. It might looks like a large iPod Nano rather than a small iPad.

According to some reports, the prototype for the rumored iPad Mini looks like a third generation large iPod Nano which indicates that the device likely employs tapered sizes although perhaps in a different fashion. The iPad Mini is with different design and capacities, which means that this will absolutely help Apple sell iPad Mini, with no negative impact on the full size iPad sales. It's within reason that the iPad mini will not use a Retina screen and use smaller storage options — maybe just 8GB. That said, expect Apple to use the dual-core A5X SoC to give the iPad mini as much computing horsepower as possible.

It is reported that Foxconn will start making the device in Brazil this September with the announcement and release coming prior to the holidays.

Conclude all the news and rumors these days and in the past, we strongly believe that the iPad Mini is on the way indeed. So let's wait and see what a surprise Apple will bring to us in the near future.

Kindle Fire 2 is Packed with Super Camera plus High-Resolution Display

This November, Amazon Kindle Fire Android tablet will be a year old. And the next generation Amazon Kindle Fire 2 is underway.

Recently there is news from the Internet that the second generation Kindle Fire will be thinner and lighter, and a built-in camera will be applied to Kindle Fire 2.

It will also have a display resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels — about the same as the iPad 2, and a substantial upgrade from the current Kindle Fire's 1,024 x 600-pixel screen. (The iPad 3's "retina" display is 2,048 x 1,536 pixels, for comparison.)

The screen of Amazon Kindle Fire 2 will not be sharper but will be square instead. The screen of the next Kindle Fire will have an aspect ratio of 1.60, compared to the current Kindle Fire's more elongated 1.71 aspect ratio.

The device is expected to ship before September.

And there is also report that Amazon is going to release two new Kindle Fire models: a 7-inch version called "Coyote" and a 10-inch "Hollywood" tablet. Whether it will be one or two tablets, one thing is sure that the competition will be serious:  Apple is planning to launch a 7-inch "iPad Mini" that could come within the price range of the $199 Kindle Fire. Google Nexus 7 has also already received rave reviews from the press "the Android media tablet the Kindle Fire was supposed to be".

Anyway, just wait and see what is bound to happen in the near future.

Three Kindle Fire 2 Tablets are Underway as Reported

Based on the statement of NPD DisplaySearch, several new Kindle Fire tablets are going to make a debut soon. At least three models of Kindle Fire 2 will be brought out.

According to the analyst, the Kindle Fire 2 will be used to complete with Google Nexus 7, and even surpass Nexus 7.

The information comes from sources in the "supply chain" -- a collection of companies that manufacture components and assemble products.
●7-inch Kindle Fire 2: 1,024x600 display, no camera; August production.
●7-inch Kindle Fire 2: 1,280x800 display with camera; August production.
●7-inch Kindle Fire 2: 1,280x800 display with camera and 4G; September production.
●8.9-inch Kindle Fire 2: With 1,920x1,200 display; Q4 production.

It seems that it is unlikely to reveal 10-inch Kindle Fire, at least not so soon.

Because the supply chain is dynamic -- based on orders received from brands like Amazon and Apple -- the status can change from month to month.

If the supply chain information is accurate, the Kindle Fire would trump the Nexus 7 by adding 4G and a higher resolution 1,920x1,200 display. Like the Nexus 7, the new Kindle Fires will have displays that boast pixel densities of 216 pixels per inch (PPI), according to Shim.

While this falls short of the 264 PPI on the third-generation iPad, anything above 200 is considered competitive. The original Kindle Fire had a PPI of about 170.

There was no information immediately available from DisplaySearch on pricing or processors. Current speculation calls for either Texas Instruments OMAP processors or Nvidia's widely used quad-core Tegra 3 chip.

Anyway, let's wait and see what will be released finally.

Google's New 3D Imagery Will Embark on Google Earth For Android, iOS Soon

A few weeks ago, Google hosted a last-minute press conference in San Francisco to announce its new, highly detailed 3D maps. While many of us expected the company to actually launch the maps then, Google never announced actual launch date. Today, the wait is over, as the new version of Google Earth for Android (version 7.0) now offers access to the new 3D imagery. You can download the updated Google Earth for Android app from the Play store now.

Don't get too excited, though. For the time being, only about a dozen cities feature these new 3D maps, including most cities in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as L.A., San Diego, Portland, Boulder, Charlotte, Tucson, Tampa and Rome, Italy (Rome being the only non-U.S. city that currently features the new 3D maps).
At a session at Google I/O today, Google also reiterated that these features will come to iOS "soon".
Google says that it will continue to release more 3D imagery over the coming months. The plan, says Google, is to offer 3D coverage for metropolitan areas with a "combined population of 300 million people".
This new 3D imagery is created by using the 45-degree aerial photographs Google is already collecting in many metropolitan areas.
At I/O today, Google also stressed that with Google Earth, the company doesn't just want people to find information, but also to get lost and just explore. Because of this, it has added a new Tour Guide feature to Google Earth that lets you find interesting sights in the world (in 3D, of course).

New Music Video: Dawn Richard "Automatic" Free Download for Enjoyment

Here comes with the new music video for Dawn Richard's single "Automatic". Directed by Michael Johnson, the dance-heavy video depicts the former Diddy-Dirty Money member tumbling and turning in a coat of gold body paint. Dawn Richard "Automatic" Free Download for further enjoyment if necessary.

"For this video, we wanted to show the depth and versatility to our story," the former Danity Kane star tells The BoomBox. "With 'Bombs,' we focused on full out choreography. We wanna bring something new every time we release a visual. With 'Automatic,' it's more story-focused. It's the rebellion against what the world wants you to be and what really lies underneath it all when you realize your own self-worth." In the Michael Johnson-directed clip, Richard and two female dancers showcase energetic choreography, contorting their bodies and displaying synchronized moves. The songstress sports metallic paint in one scene and a blonde bob paired with black body makeup in another.

Dawn Richard Automatic Lyrics

How'd I get stuck living like this
Picture fucking perfect stepford wife
Assembled to fit your design.
There used to be a heart in here
Tell me how could anything survive
My parts are made of steel, ooh
Like a tin-man, I played the part
I wage my heart I feel so artificial when I'm loving you
I can't, I can't
'Cause I'm nothing kind of gush that gonna let you go with you
That gonna let you do that

[Chorus:]
Sorry if you think, if you think I'm automatic
Fucking with the wrong toy no batteries included
Tryin to turn me on 'cause you think I'm operatic
Treat me like a droid 'cause you think I'm automatic
Enjoy 'cause you think I'm automatic
Play me like a toy cause you think I'm automatic
Auto automatic, 'cause you think I'm automatic
Auto automatic, 'cause you think I'm automatic yeah

You called me your price possession
Showed me off like I'm your trophy case
Told me to do what you say, oh
I let you fuck up my vision
With the world in as a colder place
You had my heart, I swear it babe oh wow
Boy you don't love it
Turn my heart into your worst nightmare
Shut me down, down with your program
Switch em off I wanna be human yeah human
Again I give anything to recognize my own self
I can, I can anything to recognize my old thing
System overloaded 'cause I know that I can feel that

[Chorus x2]

Trade in this armor for a piece of reality oh
Cause under this metallic girl, there's a human being
Won't be a toy no more, boy fuck your technology
I'm done now, I'm shuttin' out
Cause I'm not the kind of chick that's gonna let you go and do that

[Chorus]

I don't give a thing about you
I'm a do em you gonna do you
I ain't automatic
So let's be true
So let's be true

[Chorus]

Listen
I don't give a fuck about you
I'ma do me, and you gon' do you
I ain't automatic, so a bitch through
So a bitch through
