Beyonce debuted her highly-anticipated fourth solo album "4" last week on June 28, 2011. According to Nielsen SoundScan, after a week of sales, Queen B's new album easily tops Billboard 200 and UK Album Chart with 310,000 copies sold.
Prior to the album's debut, female empowering single "Run The World (Girls)", which serves as the lead single of the album was officially released on April 21, 2011. After this, the album's second single "Best Thing I Never Had" was released on June 1, 2011. The video below is the music video of Beyonce's Run The World (Girls). However, according to Billboard magazine:
"4's" sales launch is lowest of her four releases: 2008's "I Am ... Sasha Fierce" entered with 482,000; 2006's "B'Day" bowed with 541,000 and 2003's "Dangerously In Love" started with 317,000.What's more, both of "Run The World (Girls)" and "Best Thing I Never Had" failed to reach the top 10 of Billboard Hot 100, which was the first time for Beyonce's lead single from her album missed the top 10.
Previously, Beyonce received the Billboard Millennium Award on the Billboard Music Award. She performed "Run The Word (Girl)" during the presentation.
