As I wrote last week, Rebecca Black was ready to release her second song and music video "My Moment". Now the wait is over, "My Moment" music video finally debuted on Rebecca's Official YouTube Channel today at 8 p.m. Another YouTube channel of the 14-year-old singer is also available now - http://www.youtube.com/RebeccaBVEVO. From the song's lyrics, we know that it's a self-empowerment song. "Were you the one who said that I would be nothing? Well, I'm about to prove you wrong, I'm not the only one who believes in something. My one wish is about to come true", as Rebecca sings in the beginning of the song.
The clip begins with Rebecca recording song with her young band in a studio. Then she is seen having interactive fan experiences and signing autographs to her fans. The video continues with the footage of Rebecca's hosting at MTV's Online Music Awards. Her news grab the headlines. She tours around the country to present all kinds of awards ceremonies. It also shows Black's rehearsal with some young dancers.
To be honest, both of the song and the music video of "My Moment" is much way better than "Friday", which is the most disliked video in YouTube's history. However, "My Moment" music video is still getting more dislikes than likes on YouTube. So far the video has received 57,663 dislikes vs 34,351 likes. Poor Rebecca, you still need to have some way to go.
BTW, according to a statement, "Friday" video was restored on YouTube, though it's not the original one posted on Rebecca Black's official channel.
